2As the current reigning Ms. USA Prime Division 3, my focus is largely on women empowerment and getting out of your comfort. As a national titleholder for the first self-care and personal improvement based pageant system, my hope is to encourage women to prioritize their self-care on their journey to achieve their personal goals. Reassurance that self-care isn't selfish as women navigating careers, relationships, motherhood, and sisterhood is a powerful neccessity in our busy lives. I am also the founder and creator of New Kids Can; a scholarship program and curriculum that works to support and monitor the transition of highschool students impacted by transferring schools. As a teenager, I was the "new girl" 4 times throughout high school and recognized a need for a program such as this to aid in the acclamation of transfer students. I have a realistic view of being the new kid as well as an opptimistic spin on what it means to be new at something that I think all students in highschool could greatly benefit from.
